The first visit
We are well equipped to make new patients feel comfortable and relaxed during their first visit. I work inclusively with people of all genders, the LBGTQ community and single women.
Dr Andreadis will start by getting to know you and your health history and tailor a physical examination to your needs. She has extensive experience managing a range of conditions across general gynaecology and in particular, infertility.
If you are looking for help in conceiving, your doctor might ask you and your partner(s) about your sexual and reproductive health, including birth control, menstrual cycle and attempts at falling pregnant. Dr Andreadis will also discuss lifestyle factors, such as diet, exercise, smoking and alcohol consumption. Your doctor may also recommend further testing to find out the cause of any fertility issues.
You can help your first appointment run smoothly by bringing
- your completed registration and history forms (emailed to you when you booked your appointment)
- your doctor’s referral
- your medicare card and health fund card
- a list of all supplements and medications you are currently taking
- copies of any recent blood tests and ultrasound reports
- copies of any previous fertility treatment records and results, if applicable
- a list of any questions you may have
It’s a good idea to ask us to repeat any information you miss or even write down some information for you.
